Ocean of Jobs

Browser extension

The Ocean of Jobs extension fills in and sends job applications for you, from the board, from your AI agent, or on any company's career page.

The extension isn't in the Chrome Web Store yet. This page describes how it works once it's available.

The extension runs in Chrome and Brave. It applies in your own browser, with your CV and your answers, so the application comes from you.

Install and connect

  1. Install Ocean of Jobs from the Chrome Web Store once it's listed there.
  2. Click the extension's icon, then Connect account. Your account page opens and connects the extension.
  3. Add your CV in the extension's settings, and your contact details in the auto apply settings on your account page. Every application uses them.

Apply from the board

Press Auto apply on a job and it joins your queue. The extension opens each queued job in a background tab, fills in the form and sends it, up to 20 jobs each time it checks the queue. The board then shows Applied with the time you applied.

Auto apply works on jobs hosted on Greenhouse, Ashby and Workable. The board only offers the button on those jobs.

Questions it can't answer

Some forms ask things your CV doesn't cover, like notice period or whether you need a visa. If you chose Draft an answer with AI in your auto apply settings, the extension first asks an AI to answer from your profile. That works on Basic and Pro, or on any plan with your own AI key. If the AI can't answer, or you chose Skip the job, the job waits in Questions you need to answer in the extension's popup, grouped per job. Answer them there and the job goes back in the queue. Answers you save on your account page are used for later jobs.

The AI never sees demographic questions such as gender, race or veteran status, and it never gets your name, email or phone number. You choose those answers on your account page, or leave them unanswered.

Any other career page

On a job posting outside the board, a lighthouse button appears at the top right of the page. Click it, then Fill application, and the extension fills every field it can match. Check the form, then press Submit application.

Some sites protect their form with a CAPTCHA or another human check. The extension fills those forms but leaves sending to you, so press the site's own button.

To show the button on every company's site, turn on Show the fill button on every careers page in the extension's settings. Without it, the button shows on supported job sites such as Greenhouse, Lever and Workday. Elsewhere, open the extension and click Fill application. The button says No application detected when the page has no form to fill, and Review filled fields after a fill, to take you to each field that needs your attention.

Use it with your AI agent

An agent connected through the MCP server can add jobs to your auto apply queue with a personal access token. The extension applies to them the same way as jobs you queued yourself. Create the token on your account page.

Plans

The free plan includes 30 automatic applications a month. Pricing lists the paid plans.
