Materials Engineering Student

Elbit Systems in Rehovot is looking for a Materials Engineering Student to join our team

In this role you will:

Perform materials testing in our company laboratories using advanced equipment and methodologies

Support materials engineers in laboratory and development activities across multiple projects

Assist in R&D programs, internal innovation initiatives, Chief Scientist projects, Ministry of Defense programs, and collaborations with industry and academia

Participate in engineering and development processes related to advanced materials technologies

Document test results meticulously and support ongoing laboratory activities

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's student in Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering

Two years of studies remaining

Availability for two workdays per week, with flexibility in working hours

Ability to work independently and manage your own tasks

Independent thinking, thoroughness, and perseverance in approaching technical challenges

High level of reliability and strong interpersonal skills

Willingness to work additional hours when required – advantage

Previous industrial R&D experience – advantage

Creativity in problem-solving and approach to technical challenges – advantage
