Sr. Production Team Member

About the Role:
-
Monitor and coordinate workflow to meet production schedules and quality standards

Responsible for material availability at the stati on
-
Operating equipment and/or running stations within the line
-
Assist with machine and equipment setup and minor adjustments/troubleshooting
-
Serve as the first point of escalation for operators regarding process and equipment issues
-
Provide on-the-job training and coaching to new and existing team members
-
Verify first piece inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards
-
Assist with accurate production, downtime, scrap, and other production records and reporting
-
Escalate production issues and coordinate resolutions, within escalation matrix
-
Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate suggestions to supervisor and/or production manager
-
Support 5S and lean initiatives within the work area
-
Serve as a liaison between operators and supervisors, relay shift updates and priorities
-
Participate in daily production meetings and provide feedback on team performance
-
Adhere to safety, quality, and production requirements
-
Other duties, as assigned.
About You:
-
High school diploma or equivalent (technical or advanced training in manufacturing processes)
-
Associate’s degree preferred
-
2-3 years of experience in a production environment
-
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality requirements; ability to train other team members effectively
-
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with team members

Basic computer skills
