JOB DESCRIPTION:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.        Is responsible for the re-setting of tables and making sure that tables and chairs are free of food particles or water spots.
2.        Will remove any dirty dishes from dining room to the dish washing area and load into appropriate racks for washing.
3.        Remove soiled linens from dining room and replace it with fresh linens.
4.        Responsible for the setting of tables with clean linen, china, silver, and glassware with attention to proper positioning of each.
5.        Will provide member/guest with fresh water as soon as they are seated, grasping glasses by the stem only.
6.        Will assist wait staff in traying out hot foods to the dining room.
7.        To stock side stations with silver, china, glass, ice, and any other items needed.
8.        Will check on tables during service hours to be mindful of water refills, dish cleaning, changing ashtrays, and assist member/guests in any way.
9.        May be asked to pour coffee, replenish rolls and butter, or run cocktail orders for the wait staff.
10.        Must be familiar with the table sequence of the dining room.
11.        Exhibits a professional attitude and maintains a clean and neat experience.
12.        Will remain on the dining room floor and be available and visible as much as possible.
13.        Will be responsible for fulfilling all clean-up duties as asked by Food and Beverage Director, such as burnishing silver, polishing copper chaffer, etc.
14.        Will assist in function set-up and tear down.

15.    Is required to attend all food and beverage staff meetings.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.        Perform all other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Education:    High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred.

Experience:    1 yr. food and beverage background

Skills and Abilities:    Fine Dining Experience Preferred
