As academic staff, you will play an active role in the academic, professional and personal development of your learners to prepare them for work & life.

• As academic staff, you will play an active role in the academic, professional, and personal development of your learners to prepare them for work and life.

• What you will be working on

• Design, evaluate, and enhance course curricula, and co-develop training content with industry partners to ensure relevance to evolving industry needs.

• Teach and supervise project for PET and CET courses, including professional short courses.

• Spearhead and identify new opportunities, initiatives, and collaborations with the industry.

• Plan, lead, manage, and undertake Embodied AI projects with industry partners.

[What we are looking for]

• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in Robotics and Embodied/Physical AI.

• Relevant qualifications in Robotics, Mechanical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related domains of study.

• Technical expertise and track record in the following areas (ideally two or more)

• Robotics Training Data Pipeline: Data acquisition for robot training, synchronization, calibration, evaluation harnesses and simulation data pipelines

• Perception and Sensor Fusion: 3D scene understanding, manipulation-centric perception

• Simulation: digital twin creation for robot training, synthetic data generation, sim-to-real transfer, familiarity with Isaac Sim

• Policy Learning and foundation models: Imitation and reinforcement learning, cross-embodiment generalisation, vision-language action and world action models

• System Integration and Deployment: ROS2 systems integration, runtime robustness, safety and field deployment optimization

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate empathy and connect effectively with diverse learners.

• Candidates with practical experience in designing and implementing embodied AI solutions in an industry setting would be advantageous.
