ABOUT ALLJOINED

Alljoined is creating a future where humans are fully understood and augmented by technology. Our work solves the communication bottleneck between humans and computers by decoding thoughts from the brain, entirely non-invasively. We apply deep learning research to large-scale EEG datasets to decode multimedia input, eventually moving to internal thought. We are state-of-the-art in our capabilities and fully vertically integrated. Our goal is to develop a general consumer interface that completely transforms how we live our lives.

We are actively growing our world-class team of researchers and operators to build the next interface to improve individual lives and the well-being of society as a whole.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Facilities & Office Manager, you will own the day-to-day operation of Alljoined’s office and facilities and help make sure the physical workplace runs smoothly as the company grows.

You’ll be the main point person for facility and workplace needs, including vendors and service providers, maintenance, access, supplies, office organization, and facility projects. You’ll also help build the systems, documentation, and recurring processes that make these areas run reliably over time.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving practical problems, and figuring things out in a fast-moving startup environment. As the core office and facilities responsibilities become more established, there will be opportunities to take on broader Operations based on your interests and strengths.

This is an in-office, part-time role based in San Francisco, starting at approximately 20 hours per week across five weekdays, with some flexibility around facility and project needs.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in office, workplace, facilities, administrative, or operational roles
  • High ownership and strong follow-through
  • Resourceful and comfortable solving unfamiliar problems with limited direction
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable coordinating vendors, service providers, and facility-related needs
  • Proactive about improving processes and documenting how things work
  • Hands-on, low-ego, and genuinely motivated by helping the team operate effectively
  • Comfortable working in an early-stage startup where priorities can change quickly
  • Interested in growing your scope over time as the company scales!

Experience managing facilities, workplace operations, construction/facility projects, or People Operations is a plus. Familiarity with tools such as Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, and Linear is helpful.
