Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a professional and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at the company site in Rehovot and take part in designing complex opto-mechanical systems and precision motion mechanisms, including advanced test setups and fixtures in a multidisciplinary environment

Job Description:

Mechanical and opto-mechanical design of complex mechanisms and systems, including precision mechanics and motion mechanisms

Full responsibility from concept phase through detailed development to system integration

Independent work or as part of a team while meeting project requirements in terms of schedule and quality

Ongoing collaboration with parallel disciplines such as electronics and systems engineering

Support for manufacturing and electronic packaging processes, implementing engineering changes, and preparing complete engineering documentation

Job Requirements:

BSc in Mechanical Engineering

At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design of mechanisms and precision mechanics

In-depth familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, casting, and sheet metal bending

Experience with SolidWorks software

Knowledge of tolerances, GD&T, technical drawings, and engineering documentation

Over 5 years of experience in opto-mechanical design – advantage

Understanding and ability in electronic packaging – advantage

Experience in military or aerospace system design – advantage

Excellent interpersonal communication

Ability to work in a multi-tasking and interface-rich environment

High analytical skills

Creativity and determination to find solutions and meet goals

Willingness to travel abroad frequently
