The most important story about any Apple application is data. As a software engineer of AiDP data services team, you will work on building database managed services and data streaming platform that power some of Apple’s most critical business use cases. You will collaborate with exceptional database engineering teams and internal stakeholders in building these solutions.

Description
We are looking for a passionate software engineer with experience in building cloud based data engineering solutions. We expect the candidate to influence platform tools, APIs and architecture. This role requires strong collaboration with internal teams to deliver a best in class product in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
Cloud solutions: Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and data engineering services
Develop services: Design and implement microservices and APIs, from system design through production deployment and operations
Collaboration: Collaborate with a team of database engineers and architects to develop the services

Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technology field
8+ years of Software development experience with Python/Go
Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
Hands on Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
Experience with databases like Mongo, PostgreSQL in production environments
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization

Preferred qualifications
Experience with REST or gRPC API development.
Knowledge in multi-threading, concurrency and parallelism
Able to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
