Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate radiology operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control processes.

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound, as certified.

Develop, implement, and update policies, procedures, and protocols tailored to a new hospital setting.

Train, mentor, and evaluate imaging staff, promoting a team-oriented environment focused on safety and quality.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, radiation safety protocols, and accreditation requirements.

Maintain and monitor imaging equipment, coordinating with vendors for servicing, calibration, and repairs.

Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and hospital leadership to optimize patient care and streamline imaging services.

Participate in readiness activities for state and accreditation surveys to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.

Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience in modalities such as CT, X-ray, MRI, or Ultrasound, verified by ARRT or RDMS certification.

Prior leadership or supervisory experience is required .

Minimum of one year of hospital-based imaging experience.

An associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, along with relevant training and experience.

Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS).

BLS certification is required .

Multimodality Technologists must have certification in two or more modalities or have completed an accredited cross-training program.
