Job Duties: The Senior Technical Lead relies on experience with an application development organization, specifically delivering systems and projects from inception through implementation, as well as the following: with Snowflake, including query tuning, cluster keys, pruning, secure views, and data-sharing concepts; with Python, DBT and Airflow for building and maintaining data transformation logic and incremental views for reporting tool on cloud; on building transformation logic code based on mapping to migrate data from one system to another system or build reports; with Power BI development, creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations; with Writing DAX expressions and optimizing Power BI performance; with Relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server; with UI Web development framework experience; Unstructured data and persistence model such as MongoDB, Snowflake; DevOps toolsets for versioning, containers, such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins & GitLab; Event/data streaming platform, such as Kafka; and working on multi-tiered applications that are designed, developed and delivered as cloud- based solutions, including the following: Designing and developing Cloud Native applications; Creating microservices applications using technologies such as REST, JSON, Spring Boot and Java; Deploying and configuring well performing Cloud Native application; and ORM tools (Hibernate, JPA).

The Senior Technical Lead will: Develop and design technical solutions based on reading and understanding business and functional requirements following the Agile process; Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Snowflake, including secure views, cluster key optimization, pruning techniques, and data-sharing capabilities; Implement dimensional modeling techniques to optimize data organization for analytics and business intelligence reporting; Create, schedule, and manage workflows with Airflow for seamless job orchestration and automation of reliable and efficient ELT pipelines; Implement DBT to build and maintain incremental views for reporting and analytics; Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide insights and business intelligence based on various data sources; Integrate Power BI with Snowflake and develop data models and DAX calculations to provide business users with actionable insights; Apply data governance best practices, ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance with enterprise standards; Produce high-quality code to meet all project deadlines and ensuring the functionality matches the requirements; Analyze and resolve issues found during the testing or pre-production phases of the software delivery lifecycle, coordinating changes with project team leaders and cross-work team members; Provide technical leadership to project team members and responding to inquiries regarding errors or questions about programs; Collaborate with data architects, technical leads, project managers, and other stakeholders to address scheduling and technical issues; Suggest and implement process improvements for estimating development and testing processes; Responsible for ensuring team designs and delivers code in alignment with published SEI & industry standards; and Provide technical problem resolution and application support, as required

Requirements: Nine (9) years of prior work experience with an application development organization; must demonstrate experience delivering systems and projects from inception through implementation. Nine (9) years in each of the following: Experience with Snowflake, including query tuning, cluster keys, pruning, secure views, and data-sharing concepts; Experience with Python, DBT and Airflow for building and maintaining data transformation logic and incremental views for reporting tool on cloud; Experience on building transformation logic code based on mapping to migrate data from one system to another system or build reports; Experience with Power BI development, creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations; Experience with Writing DAX expressions and optimizing Power BI performance; Experience with Relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server; and Experience with UI Web development framework experience. Eight (8) years in each of the following: Unstructured data and persistence model such as MongoDB, Snowflake; DevOps toolsets for versioning, containers, such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins & GitLab; and Event/data streaming platform, such as Kafka. Four (4) years of experience working on multi-tiered applications that are designed, developed and delivered as cloud- based solutions, including each of the following: Designing and developing Cloud Native applications; Creating microservices applications using technologies such as REST, JSON, Spring Boot and Java; Deploying and configuring well performing Cloud Native application; and ORM tools (Hibernate, JPA).

Alternative Requirements: Bachelors degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or another related field. Seven (7) years of prior work experience with an application development organization; must demonstrate experience delivering systems and projects from inception through implementation. Seven (7) years in each of the following: Experience with Snowflake, including query tuning, cluster keys, pruning, secure views, and data-sharing concepts; Experience with Python, DBT and Airflow for building and maintaining data transformation logic and incremental views for reporting tool on cloud; Experience on building transformation logic code based on mapping to migrate data from one system to another system or build reports; Experience with Power BI development, creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations; Experience with Writing DAX expressions and optimizing Power BI performance; Experience with Relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server; and Experience with UI Web development framework experience. Six (6) years in each of the following: Unstructured data and persistence model such as MongoDB, Snowflake; DevOps toolsets for versioning, containers, such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins & GitLab; and Event/data streaming platform, such as Kafka. Two (2) years of experience working on multi-tiered applications that are designed, developed and delivered as cloud- based solutions, including 2 years in each of the following: Designing and developing Cloud Native applications; Creating microservices applications using technologies such as REST, JSON, Spring Boot and Java; Deploying and configuring well performing Cloud Native application; and ORM tools (Hibernate, JPA).
