YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE
We’re looking for an Indirect Materials Planner to join our MaterialsTeam in Chihuahua. In this role, you’ll coordinate the replenishment of consumables, spare parts, and indirect materials for the Tool Crib and Maintenance warehouses, helping maintain the inventory levels required to support plant operations.
You’ll work closely with [Purchasing, Maintenance, Production, Warehouse, and other applicable teams] to manage purchase requisitions, monitor inventory availability, and support timely material replenishment. This is an opportunity to strengthen inventory planning processes and contribute to the efficient use and availability of indirect materials.
WHAT YOU’LL BUILD & OWN

Analyze inventory levels to identify replenishment needs and generate purchase requisitions for consumables, spare parts, and indirect materials.

Enter, maintain , and update purchase requisition records to ensure accurate and timely information.

Organize and segregate consumable requirements by production area to support effective material planning.

Follow up on purchase requisitions pending approval to support timely processing and material availability.

Monitor approved requisitions that are pending Purchase Order creation and coordinate the corresponding follow-up.

Coordinate and manage cycle count activities to support inventory accuracy.

Support inventory planning and control activities for the Tool Crib and Maintenance warehouses.
WHAT YOU BRING
-
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering , Maintenance Engineering, or a related field.
-
At least one year of experience in a similar position.
-
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
-
Experience in inventory planning and control.
-
Experience calculating inventory levels and inventory turnover.
-
Knowledge of FIFO, First In, First Out, inventory practices.
-
Experience performing or coordinating cycle counts.
-
Experience using ERP or MRP systems.
-
Experience creating and managing purchase requisitions.

Experience coordinating with Purchasing, Maintenance, Production, or Warehouse teams.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to follow up on multiple requisitions and inventory requirements simultaneously.

COMPENSATION
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location. This role may also be eligible for competitive salary and enhanced benefits beyond legal requirements.
