What This Position is All About

As the Facilities Lead will oversee the day to day operation of the Facilities team and will report directly to the Manager, Facilities.. Please continue reading to learn more about this position.

Who You Are:

• Has a good sense of time and is able to complete tasks in a timely manner by utilizing time management and organizational skills

• Can be relied upon to consistently deliver exceptional results with little to no guidance

• Independent worker who takes ownership of projects at hand but also someone that can work well and achieve goals in a team environment

• Someone who takes initiative and is flexible, adapts well to change and is willing take on ad-hoc tasks that come their way

You Also Have:

• Minimum of 5 years in a facilities position with related experience

• Mechanical abilities and knowledge of conveyor systems and material handling equipment

• Ability to effectively communicate and partner with all levels of colleagues and contractors to ensure issues are identified and corrected as quickly as possible

• Ability to climb and work from ladders

• Available for emergency calls 24/7

• Basic Computer Network configuration knowledge to assist in troubleshooting IT issue at the store level

• Lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required

• Must have strong computer skills, i.e.  Google, MS Office, and adapt to changing technology

• Exceeds their job requirements, takes initiative, and is committed to achieving outstanding results

As The Facilities Lead You Will:

• Lead the facility maintenance team, assign task and set priorities

• Respond timely and perform all maintenance needs within the facility

• Support building requirements and ensure that they remain operational; the fire suppression system, Asset Protection surveillance (including camera relocation and installation), elevators and power equipment upkeep and repair

• Work closely with Omni Inventory Control to ensure Saks assets are protected

• Preventative maintenance programs and normal upkeep of the building and property

• Provide excellent customer service and reduce downtime

• Work with vendors and contractors as needed for building repair and improvements

• Maintain inventory of parts and order supplies as needed

• Partner with Asset Protection to support the employee safety program

Salary Range $17.05 - $21.32*

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
