Business Intelligence / Data Analyst

GDIT is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence / Data Analyst with experience in Medical Logistics , Maven Smart Systems , and operational medical readiness data. This role provides configuration, sustainment, analytics, and operator support for the Medical Common Operational Picture (MEDCOP) across IL5/IL6 environments. The B usiness Intelligence / Data Analyst will work closely with Army medical units, logistics organizations, and operational headquarters to ensure accurate, timely, and mission‑focused medical data visualization and reporting in support of LSCO, MASCAL events, exercises, and routine operations.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

Secret Commercial Cloud Services (SC2S) / IL6 (SIPR) MEDCOP Support

• Configure, validate, and sustain MEDCOP capabilities within the SC2S environment.

• Maintain Role of Care visualization, including medical treatment facility (MTF) capacity, occupancy views, and patient holding analysis.

• Provide patient status tracking, return‑to‑duty (RTD) pipeline visualization, and medical equipment readiness monitoring.

Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) / IL5 (NIPR) MEDCOP Support

• Configure, validate, and sustain MEDCOP capabilities in the C2S environment.

• Maintain Class VIII A/B inventory tracking with echelon-level drill-down.

• Ensure end‑to‑end medical supply chain visibility and enable 48–72 hour forecasting analytics.

• Monitor medical equipment status, shelf-life, expirations, and replenishment pipelines.

Alerting & Threshold Management

• Configure exception-based alerting for MASCAL events and supply-level threshold breaches.

• Establish, tune, and document alert thresholds in coordination with USAREUR-AF, MRC‑EUR, the 68th TMC, and other stakeholders.

Reporting & Analytics

• Build and maintain on-demand reporting templates and parameter-driven user reports.

• Enable user groups to generate operational, logistic, and readiness reports independently.

User Support & Operational Integration

• Provide user onboarding, familiarization training, and configuration documentation for MEDCOP operators.

• Support MEDCOP users during MASCAL responses, exercises, and LSCO-focused training events.

• Deliver operator support within the level of effort defined by the Performance Agreement (PA).

Continual Service Improvement

• Gather user feedback and document requirements.

• Implement configuration refinements and enhancements through established Continual Service Improvement and Innovation (CSI2) processes.

• Maintain accurate, current system configuration artifacts and user guides.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Systems Administrator SME must have:

• Education : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience

• Experience: 5+ years of experience.

• Technical skills:

• Experience with Maven Smart Systems , BI platforms , or operational dashboards.;

• Foundational knowledge of Medical Logistics , Class VIII supply chains , and medical readiness metrics;

• Familiarity with DoW operational medical workflows, Roles of Care, and MTF operations;

• Experience working in IL5/IL6 cloud environments (C2S/SC2S);

• Proficiency with data validation, dashboard configuration, and operational analytics;

• Ability to interface effectively with military medical personnel, logisticians, and operational command staff.

• Certifications: Must possess DoW 8570 IAT Level II certification on Day 1; Must obtain ITIL Foundation certification within 90 days of hire

• Security Clearance: Secret Clearance required to start

• Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience supporting USAREUR‑AF, MRC‑EUR, or Army Medical Commands.

• Knowledge of MASCAL event workflows, LSCO planning, and operational medical readiness.

• Prior experience with alerting systems, forecasting models, or supply chain analytics.

• Role requirements: Full-time, on-site in Sembach, Germany; occasional TDY travel

• Preferred Qualifications: VANTAGE Systems Experience

The likely salary range for this position is $124,093 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
