Engineering Program Manager - Strategic Data Solutions

Description

• Define program strategy and drive prioritization of engineering work in alignment with long-

term roadmap vision, balancing impact, cost, resourcing, timeline, and risk

• Establish and communicate program strategy, success metrics, and progress to both technical

teams and senior leadership

• Lead cross-functional programs from inception through delivery and ongoing monitoring,

maintaining alignment across engineering, business, and operations stakeholders

• Build and maintain partnerships with key business and engineering stakeholders across

multiple teams to ensure alignment and drive program outcomes

• Continually identify and drive opportunities for process improvement
• Own and manage business-critical metrics in close partnership with machine learning

engineers, ensuring operational health and program performance

• Get into the details on analytical projects and critical metrics; dive deep with the team to solve

complex challenges

• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, bringing structure and clarity to ambiguous

situations with competing priorities

• Operate with a high degree of autonomy, exercising sound judgment and knowing when to

escalate or seek guidance

Minimum qualifications
BS/MS in any analytical, quantitative, or technical field (engineering, math, computer science,
finance, analytics, statistics, or similar), or equivalent experience
Experience structuring and leading large cross-functional technical or analytical programs
Ability to perform business discovery, simplify and define problems, extract key information,
and propose innovative analytic approaches - including in areas outside own core expertise
Proven ability to drive change through positive influence of co-workers, leadership, and
business partners
Ability to learn and provide in-depth evaluations of complex engineering and analytic issues
Skilled at using data to present, advocate for, and prioritize among solutions
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with individuals at all levels and develop
close partnerships across engineering and business teams
Ability to manage conflicting priorities, ensure all perspectives are heard, and make sound
recommendations under ambiguity
Clear, confident communicator who can adapt between technical detail and executive-level
storytelling
Track record of influencing through metrics, vision, and collaborative leadership

Preferred qualifications
Previous experience in engineering, data analysis, machine learning, or operations would be
beneficial but is not required
Inquisitive mindset with a drive for continued self-improvement and development of new
skills
