Outbound Shipping Clerk

JOB DESCRIPTION

Shipping Clerk Responsibilities

• Manage and   C oordinate Daily Route Manifest Log .

• Verify Receiving and Shipping Windows are met- communicate concerns to supervisor

• Updates Hot Parts Board when   expedited   parts arrive.

• Manage   the Dock and Yard Inven tory Trailer movements to support   production a nd supermarket   lines of   replenishment.

• Manage Trailer Tracking Sheet.

• Manage and   maintain   accurate   paperwork to support part inventory of trailers in yard.

• Maintains records of seat shipping system (BOS requirements)

• Coordinate any   logistics   to and from outside warehouse/s.

• Manage the input of incoming receipts on a regular timely basis.

• Diligently   maintains   records of packing slips

• Maintains records of returnable containers

• M aintain system for accurately tracking Truckload Utilization. (TUMS)

• Able to work with minimum supervision.

• Maintain all CTPAT requirements (Trainable)

• Must have   up -to-date forklift license.

• Ensures   compliance   with   all   safety   procedures   and   ensures   safe   working   procedures   in   assigned   production   areas.

• Maintain all B OS requirements for shipping,   receiving , and transportation management

Other Skills and Abilities:

Must be computer literate and familiar with   appropriate software   programs.    Candidate has the ability to create visual aids for communication purposes.

Pay Range: $50-55k
