IT Infrastructure Expert

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Expert to join our team in Rehovot and lead the design and evolution of IT infrastructure within a large, complex defense organization, supporting critical systems with high standards of security, availability, and resilience

Responsibilities:

Design and define infrastructure architectures in On‑Prem / Data Center environments

Lead target architecture definition and long-term roadmap

Support projects end-to-end from design to production

Collaborate with networking, servers, storage, cybersecurity, DevOps, and R&D teams

Define infrastructure standards and evaluate new technologies

Design HA, DR, and Business Continuity solutions

Analyze performance, availability, and infrastructure risks

Prepare and present architecture documentation

Work with vendors in a regulated and classified environment

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure in large organizations

Experience in an architectural or senior / lead infrastructure role

Proven experience with complex enterprise environments

Strong knowledge of servers (VMware / Hyper‑V / Nutanix), storage (SAN / NAS), and networking

Experience with HA and DR solutions

Strong understanding of infrastructure security principles

Experience writing design and architecture documents

Fluent Hebrew and English

Security clearance – advantage

Experience in defense / regulated environments – advantage

Experience with Air‑Gap / classified environments – advantage
