Description

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Director to lead ChargeAfter's growth across the Home Improvement and Home Services markets.

This role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business with large home improvement contractors, remodeling companies, roofing organizations, window and door providers, outdoor living specialists, home service brands, franchise operators, and technology platforms serving the industry. This individual will serve as the organization's Subject Matter Expert for these verticals and will be expected to drive strategic insights, market intelligence, and ownership of ChargeAfter's growth strategy within the space.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience selling into the home improvement and home services ecosystem and understands how contractors, home service providers, dealer networks, franchise organizations, and consumer-facing service businesses evaluate technology, financing, payments, and customer acquisition solutions. This person should be comfortable engaging senior executives, building trusted relationships, and leading complex sales cycles with enterprise-level organizations, including large remodeling firms, roofing companies, window and door manufacturers and dealers, deck and patio providers, home services franchises, and industry technology partners.

This role will play a critical part in expanding ChargeAfter's footprint across Home Improvement and Home Services while accelerating revenue growth in one of our most strategic and rapidly growing verticals.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, strategic sales, or business development roles.
  • Proven track record of selling complex technology, financing, payments, SaaS, home services technology, or platform solutions into large enterprise organizations.
  • Strong background in Home Improvement and/or Home Services, ideally through direct experience with remodeling companies, roofing organizations, window and door providers, home service franchises, dealer networks, contractor-focused technology companies, fintechs, lenders, or payment providers.
  • Experience working with or selling to enterprise contractors, multi-location operators, franchise organizations, manufacturer dealer networks, home services platforms, or large consumer-facing service organizations.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to gain buy-in from senior stakeholders and lead complex commercial discussions.
  • Demonstrated success navigating long, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
  • Strong understanding of how financing influences customer acquisition, lead conversion, sales performance, project size, financing adoption, and overall business growth within the home improvement sector.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Highly self-directed, strategic, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a leading home improvement technology provider, CRM platform, payments company, prime bank, lender, fintech, or embedded finance company serving Home Improvement or Home Services markets.
  • Experience selling financing platforms, embedded lending solutions, BNPL, waterfall financing, point-of-sale financing, payment orchestration, lead-to-sale technology, or related enterprise products.
  • Existing relationships within major remodeling companies, roofing organizations, home services franchises, dealer networks, manufacturers, contractor software companies, or financing decision-makers in the industry.
  • Familiarity with homeowner purchasing behavior, in-home sales processes, lead generation models, financing-driven sales strategies, and contractor operational workflows.
  • Experience supporting large-ticket home improvement purchases including roofing, replacement windows and doors, siding, HVA, decks, patios, kitchens, baths, flooring, and other residential renovation projects.
  • Understanding of the financing needs and buying cycles associated with discretionary and necessity-based home improvement projects.
