Senior mechanical engineer

For our site in Netanya, we are looking for an experienced and talented Mechanical Engineer to join our development team — someone with the ability to work independently and lead projects as part of a product development team.

The role includes full end-to-end mechanical design of complex electro-mechanical systems, from the concept stage through to mass production.

In this role you will:

Design enclosures for electronic and multidisciplinary systems, with emphasis on thermal and EMI solutions, mechanical durability, and integration of electronics boards (PCB/PCBA)

Conduct thermal (CFD), static, and dynamic (FEA) analyses as an integral part of the development process to enhance product reliability

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to accomplish project tasks

Transfer products from development to production, prepare manufacturing documentation, support assembly lines, and solve engineering issues in production (DFM/DFA)

Select manufacturing technologies and provide technical interface with local and international vendors and manufacturers

Plan and execute qualifications and environmental tests according to international standards

Requirements:

BSc in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university

MSc - an advantage

8+ years of experience in mechanical development of complex systems and multidisciplinary products

5+ years in designing electronics packaging products at the PCB/PCBA level

Full proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks or NX - an advantage)

Proven experience with simulation tools, particularly in thermal and structural analysis

Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis and design for manufacturing, testing and reliability (DFx), with extensive experience in designing with various materials, coatings and manufacturing methods (machining, die casting, sheet metal and others)

Experience developing military or ruggedized systems and working with military standards - an advantage

Experience in mechanical design for communication and RF systems - an advantage

Experience in developing cooling solutions for high-power products - an advantage

Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew
