We are searching for the best talent for a Director, New Products Value and Evidence,  to be located in Titusville, NJ.

In a rapidly evolving U.S. healthcare environment, ensuring patient access to innovative treatments requires early, integrated planning across evidence generation, market access, and policy. The Scientific Evidence & Policy Research organization generates payer and stakeholder insights, develops rigorous and differentiated value evidence, conducts timely real-world data analytics, and communicates the value of Johnson & Johnson innovations to support healthcare decision-making and access.

Purpose: In this position, the Director, New Products Value and Evidence (NPV&E), will lead U.S. market access scientific strategy, evidence generation, and dissemination planning for pipeline products. You will be responsible for:

  • Ensure that real-world evidence and market access scientific requirements are identified early and integrated into U.S. development and business plans. Develop evidence to support differentiated value propositions reflecting the needs of payer and other access stakeholders, and lead NPV&E strategic planning to support development decisions, launch readiness, and sustained access.
  • Lead NPV&E strategy and execution, including formulating priority research questions; identifying analytical needs that inform market access and development strategy; designing and conducting studies and market access analytics; managing publications; developing evidence and access communication materials; and partnering with V&ESE Field to enable effective, compliant scientific exchange with payer and other access stakeholders.
  • Ensure that NPV&E priorities are integrated into the Integrated Evidence Generation Plan (IEGP), aligned with business, payer, policy, and patient evidence needs, and executed with appropriate quality and timeliness.
  • Engage internal and external experts to refine evidence priorities and strengthen the scientific rigor and relevance of evidence-generation and dissemination plans.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory, legal and commercial regulations (for example Contract Pricing Committee, Copy Approval Committee) in conducting research and dissemination of scientific information
  • Assess the potential implications of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and other evolving U.S. policy and reimbursement changes for pipeline assets, and translate those implications into early evidence priorities, development decisions, and lifecycle evidence needs, as appropriate.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate market access evidence needs into actionable scientific strategies and development recommendations for assigned products.
  • Initiate and manage selected research studies and related projects, including scope, timelines, resources, vendor oversight, and delivery of decision-relevant outputs.
  • Serve as the NPV&E subject-matter and functional expert for U.S.-focused health technology assessments, value assessments, and other external evidence reviews of assigned products, coordinating cross-functional responses and evidence strategies as appropriate.
  • Establish and maintain quality standards for the design, execution, interpretation, and publication of real-world evidence studies and for models and tools developed for business partners.
  • Develop annual business plan budget, present to appropriate levels of management for approval, and manage budgeted funds appropriately
  • Ensure quality in internal / external communications including: publications, training support of RWVE studies, and models and/or tools developed to support the product.

Qualifications / Requirements
