Manufacturing unit Bio Injectable products Brnik will provide advanced pharmaceutical products to patients around the world. We are increasingly focusing on biosimilars, which require exceptional quality of processes and procedures, and above all, high professionalism, dedication and commitment of all employees in the unit.

We are looking for a QA Operations Specialist – Microbiology (d/f/m) to manage the quality of processes, products and equipment in the on the project for the new location for manufacturing and quality control of Bioinjectable products at Brnik .

By joining our company, you will be able to:

• Become familiar with the principles of aseptic production and the procedures for manufacturing sterile products.

• Learn how to establish appropriate aseptic work, based on smoke studies.

• Learn how to establish controls of environmental conditions by establishing cleaning and disinfection processes of premises.

• Become familiar with importance of monitoring of results of microbiological sampling and results physical parameters of the premises, and learn how to establish appropriate actions based on the results of trends.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

In our multidisciplinary working environment, you will have a dynamic and interesting career with the following job roles and responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve quality systems in compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Sandoz/Lek quality guidelines.

• Establish and ensure standards for cleaning, disinfection of cleanrooms across different cleanliness classes, and environmental monitoring programs.

• Analyze environmental monitoring data, review annual trends, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

• Ensure operator training and certification in line with global standards and requirements.

• Review, approve, and support validation activities related to aseptic filling and other aseptic manufacturing processes.

• Participate in aseptic operations oversight and support the transfer of new products into commercial manufacturing.

• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure quality standards for processes and products, drive process optimizations, and support smoke studies, validations, and facility modification activities.

• Lead and support investigations of deviations and quality events related to environmental conditions, operator qualifications, and aseptic manufacturing processes.

Essential Requirements

• A university degree in a relevant science (microbiology, biology, biotechnology, pharmacy, chemistry, chemical engineering, chemical technology and other life sciences)

• Active knowledge of English and Slovenian.

• Work experience in production, development and quality.

• Desire for new skills, personal development, teamwork and cooperation.

What we offer

• Job location: Brnik (Slovenia)

• Contract type: permanent contract with 6-month probation period

• Expected weekly working hours: 40

• Pay range (annual gross salary): € 30,960 – 46,440 EUR*

‘*Salary at Sandoz is based on job level, qualifications, specific skills, and work experience. Fully proficient candidates are usually placed around the market median, less experienced candidates lower in the range, and those with strong or niche expertise higher. When determining placement within the range, we also consider internal pay equity and external market data.

Our compensation package additionally includes

• Annual bonus (STI): percentage of annual salary

• Vacation allowance: in 2026 it was €2,450.00 net

• Christmas bonus: in 2025 it was €2,100 gross

• Voluntary Additional Pension Scheme: The company fully covers the contribution for your supplementary pension plan, amounting to 5.844% of your gross salary

Kot Specialist upravljanja kakovosti - operacije mikrobiologija (d/ž/m) na projektu za novo lokacijo za proizvodnjo in testiranje končnih bioinjektabilnih izdelkov na Brniku boste odgovorni za področje upravljanja kakovosti procesov, nadzorov pogojev okolja, validacije aseptičnega polnjenja, ter certifikacije operaterjev.

• učenje in spoznavanje zakonitosti aseptične proizvodnje ter postopkov za izdelavo sterilnih izdelkov,

• spoznavanje in vzpostavitve aseptičnega načina dela
