Summary
We’re looking for an experienced C#/.NET Developer who will join our existing team directly located in Brno. This team is working on services that are part of the ESET XDR platform. This role is a pure development role with ability to understand cloud architecture/area.
Job description
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using C# and the .NET framework.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Support technical design and architecture decisions within the team
- Drive delivery together with Product Owners and Scrum Master
- Work closely with engineering teams across ESET
- Improve engineering practices, code quality, CI/CD, and observability
- Stay hands-on when needed (coding, code reviews, debugging, unblocking the team)
- Support production operations and continuous improvement of owned services
What we expect:
- Solid experience with C# and .NET development
- Experience designing and operating backend services and APIs
- Understanding of distributed systems and software architecture principles
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience containerized applications
- Experience monitoring and troubleshooting production systems
- Strong communication skills and cross-team collaboration
- English proficiency (daily communication)
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure cloud services
- Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with API gateways, integrations, or messaging systems (SIEM)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
