About this role

The Project Controls Officer plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of engineering projects for our clients, providing accurate, timely, and actionable insights on cost, schedule, risk, and progress. Working closely with Project Managers, Engineering Leads, and client stakeholders, this role helps establish robust project baselines, track performance against plan, forecast likely outcomes, and recommend corrective actions where needed ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project) covering engineering, procurement, and construction phases

• Establish schedule baselines and manage change control processes

• Develop and maintain project cost baselines, budgets, and forecasts

• Track committed costs, actual expenditure, and accruals against budget

• Prepare weekly/monthly project status reports for internal leadership and client stakeholders

• Analyse Cost Performance Index (CPI) and Schedule Performance Index (SPI) trends

• Support quantitative schedule and cost risk analysis (e.g. Monte Carlo simulation)

• Support project audits, stage-gate reviews, and governance reporting

How you can support CoMade

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Min 4+ years' experience in project controls, cost engineering, or planning/scheduling roles, ideally within an engineering, construction, or infrastructure delivery environment

• Proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera P6 and/or MS Project)

• Strong Excel skills; experience with cost/EVM systems (e.g. SAP, Ecosys, or similar)

• Experience delivering project controls on client-facing, multi-disciplinary engineering projects

• Familiarity with risk analysis tools (e.g. Primavera Risk Analysis, @Risk)
