Construction Planning Manager

Job Title: Construction Planning Manager

Location: Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh
Project: PgMC – APCRDA
Experience: 5–8 Years
Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and monitor detailed construction schedules, milestones, and project plans.

Track project progress against approved baseline schedules and targets.

-

Identify delays, critical activities, risks, and schedule deviations and recommend corrective actions.

-

Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc progress reports and project updates.

-

Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and client representatives for progress data and planning activities.

-

Review construction programmes, work plans, resource requirements, and recovery schedules.

-

Maintain project planning dashboards, MIS, and progress records.

-

Support project review meetings, presentations, and management reporting.

-

Ensure timely updating of project schedules and monitoring of planned vs. actual progress.

Experience & Skills

-

5–8 years of experience in Construction Planning, Project Planning, Scheduling, or Project Controls .

-

Experience in infrastructure, urban development, or government projects.

-

Hands-on experience in Primavera P6 / MS Project and MS Excel.

-

Good understanding of construction planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and project controls.

-

Experience in preparing baseline programmes, look-ahead schedules, progress reports, and recovery plans .

-

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.

-

Experience in Smart City / Urban Development / Government infrastructure projects will be preferred.
