JOB DESCRIPTION
This is structure and craft work as a Master electrician involving the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and related equipment. Responsibilities include performing skilled electrical tasks in accordance with standard trade practices and maintaining High Voltage (12,750 volts) electrical systems. Assignments may be accompanied by penciled sketches, diagrams, and blueprints. This level of work is differentiated from the Electrician II level in that employees in this class, because of their license and special training, work with High Voltage (HV). Work is performed under limited supervision.

Current valid Master Electrician's license as issued by the Electrician’s Examining Board.
LICENSING/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Master Electrician's license as issued by the Electrician’s Examining Board. Some positions may require a Certificate of Special Training in High Voltage work. Some positions may require a State of Maine Class C motor vehicle operator’s license.
