Product Owner

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a  financial/FX company led by a management team with over 20 years of experience, who is looking to hire Product Owner to join their team in Bangkok.

Position: Product Owner

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Work model: hybrid ( 4 days office, 1 day Work-From-Home)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Define and maintain product vision, roadmap, and development priorities

Identify opportunities to improve client acquisition, retention, and trading experience

Gather business requirements and translate them into detailed product specifications

Conduct competitor, market, and industry analysis within Forex, CFD, and FinTech sectors

-
Manage product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria

-
Collaborate with development, design, QA, and third-party technology teams

-
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and product reviews

-
Monitor project timelines and ensure successful product delivery

-
Drive improvements across client-facing and operational platforms

-
Enhance Client Portal, CRM, and Trader Area functionality

-
Optimise payment, withdrawal, KYC, and onboarding processes

-
Support development of IB and Affiliate portals

-
Identify opportunities to implement AI-powered features and automation initiatives

-
Coordinate with external technology providers and platform vendors

-
Monitor product KPIs and performance metrics

-
Analyse customer feedback, user behaviour, and operational data

-
Recommend product enhancements based on data-driven insights.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst

Experience within Forex, CFD, Brokerage, FinTech, Payments, Banking, or Financial Services industries

Strong understanding of brokerage operations and customer lifecycle management

Experience gathering business requirements and managing product roadmaps

-
Familiarity with CRM systems, KYC processes, and onboarding workflows

-
Knowledge of deposit and withdrawal processes within financial services environments

-
Good English communication skills, both written and spoken

-
Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams

-
Familiarity with MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms

-
Experience with Affiliate and Introducing Broker (IB) programs

-
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum product development methodologies

-
Understanding of AI, Generative AI, automation tools, and process optimisation initiatives

-
Experience managing customer-facing portals and mobile applications.
