JOB DESCRIPTION

• Primarily focuses on negotiating contracts, processing purchase orders, evaluating data and supplier management

• Requires a general understanding of purchasing policies and procedures, purchasing related laws, agency, legal and ethical obligations

• Clear understanding of supplier terms and conditions

• Ability to negotiate (tactics, techniques, and strategies)

• Working knowledge of how supply strategies fit into corporate strategies

• Evaluates cost breakdowns to identify opportunities to reduce overall cost

• Targets cost book management and impact of time value of money calculations

• Executes commodity strategies

• Able to communicate effectively

• Good time management and effectively works as a part team
