Founders Associate (Intern)

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a high-ownership internship embedded in the operations team of a small, fast-moving AI startup in the freight and logistics sector. You will work directly alongside the founding team, contributing across internal systems, recruiting, go-to-market, and strategy. This is a role for someone who wants real impact, not a passive observer seat.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and manage internal systems, including the company website and operational tooling.

• Lead recruiting efforts and support the onboarding of new team members.

• Support go-to-market initiatives and help bring AI agent products to customers.

• Identify and secure grant and non-dilutive funding opportunities.

• Switch fluidly between big-picture strategy and detailed execution, tackling whatever challenge moves the company forward.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in generalist roles, ideally in early-stage or high-agency environments with real ownership.

• A technical background or strong intuition for AI and software systems.

• Experience building or managing internal systems, websites, or operational tooling.

• Familiarity with recruiting processes, candidate sourcing, or talent acquisition workflows.

• Experience identifying and securing funding opportunities such as grants or non-dilutive funding.

• Exposure to go-to-market, customer acquisition, or sales enablement activities.

• Curiosity about startups, AI, and how companies are built from the ground up.

• Fluency in both German and English, written and verbal.

• A bias toward action, strong work ethic, and a sense of urgency.

• Aspiration to build something meaningful, with a longer-term interest in founding a company.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

€2,400 per month. No visa sponsorship is available; local work authorization is required.

LOCATION

On-site in Berlin, Germany. Berlin office presence is preferred. The internship is scheduled to begin in Q4 2026.
