Join Silgan as a Vision Systems Technician in Tolleson, AZ. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you'll set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain automated vision systems and production equipment. You'll perform preventive maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, quality inspections, and equipment repairs to keep production running efficiently, reduce scrap, and maintain product quality.

What you'll do

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot automated vision systems

• Perform quality inspections and verify defective products are properly rejected

• Troubleshoot scrap, equipment jams, and system malfunctions

• Complete preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs on sensors, belts, labelers, and production equipment

• Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as needed

• Document system performance, maintenance issues, and repairs

• Assist maintenance technicians with equipment repairs and PMs

• Follow all safety and quality procedures

• Provide on-call technical support as needed

What you'll need to have

• High school diploma or GED

• 6 months to 2 years of related manufacturing, maintenance, or technician experience

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Experience with vision systems, sensors, industrial equipment, or production machinery preferred

• Plastic injection molding experience preferred

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment
