The team brings together data, application development, and machine learning — including generative AI — along with data services and customer success functions, to help IS&T build solutions more efficiently and streamline the adoption and embedding of generative AI across Apple.

Description
We are seeking an extraordinary Cloud Security Engineer who is passionate about data and security and can thrive in a fast-paced environment where both individual drive and team collaboration are the keys to success. This is a technical hands-on role that is focused on building solutions for security for on-premise and multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities
Design cloud security architectures to meet global regulatory requirements e.g GDPR/PIPL

Research new technologies and solutions to secure data in an hybrid multi-cloud environment

Design, develop, deploy, and maintain software for cloud infrastructure

Work independently with limited supervision for critical, time sensitive and high visible projects

Conduct regular meetings with the cross functional teams to ensure Security standards are adequately implemented across all data store technologies

Recognize that defects and incidents are a precious opportunity to improve, and put processes and tools in place to drive those improvements

Minimum qualifications
3+ years experience with focus on security

2+ years hands-on experience with Cloud Technologies, AliCloud experience preferred

Expertise in building applications using Java or Python

Experience in identity and access management, encryption, and analytic domains of security

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, CyberSecurity or a related work experience

Preferred qualifications
Experience with GenAI, machine learning in anomaly detection and UBA space

Good understanding for service-level objectives and ability to measure, report and enforce them using automation and visualizations

Self starter with excellent interpersonal skills, and capable of working with cross functional teams and varying levels of management
