📌 About the Role

We're looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our Enterprise Scale team, which owns the stability of Scribe's core functionality. You'll bring curiosity and cross-functional collaboration to a team that works closely with fellow engineers, designers, and user advocates to shape the overall platform experience — with a focus on building fast, reliable, and polished user interfaces.

🛠️ What You'll Do

• Own the stability, reliability, and performance of Scribe's user-facing platform functionality

• Build and ship features in our Next.js / React frontend, from concept through to production

• Translate designs and product requirements into responsive, accessible, high-quality UI

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and user advocates to improve the overall platform experience

• Write automated tests and advocate for frontend testing practices across the team

• Care about frontend craft — performance, load times, rendering, bundle size, and Core Web Vitals

🔍 What We're Looking For

• You have 5+ years of frontend engineering experience

• You're highly proficient with React (Next.js / TypeScript)

• You have a strong command of modern HTML and CSS, and of responsive, accessible design

• You're a strong advocate for automated testing

• You've seen and can implement frontend engineering best practices

✨ Nice to have

• Experience building enterprise-facing interfaces for features such as SSO/SAML sign-in flows, RBAC-driven UI, or audit log views

• Experience with backend and willingness to become a full-stack engineer

• Experience with design systems, component libraries, or state management at scale

• Experience with frontend performance optimization in high-traffic applications

• Startup experience

📍 LOCATION

Hybrid, based permanently in Serbia. Encouraged to be in our Belgrade office 3 days a week.

💰 COMPENSATION

Salary varies by location. All full-time employees receive equity in Scribe. Final offers depend on experience and scope.
