This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

The Senior Engineer is a technically strong and process-driven engineer in the DevOps Quality and Release Management team. This role collaborates with global cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent, secure, and efficient build, test, deployment, and release practices, and maintains standards across development pipelines, environments, and security controls.

Release Management

• Define, implement, and enforce Git workflow standards across all regions

• Establish and maintain pull request and merge strategies, ensuring code meets defined quality, security, and completion criteria before progressing through the pipeline

• Define processes for end-to-end vulnerability traceability, including discovery details, risk classification, ownership, remediation actions, and closure evidence

• Coordinate and drive vulnerability remediation with Development and Security teams, ensuring issues are prioritized, tracked, and resolved within agreed timelines

DevOps Quality

• Ensure CI/CD pipelines, repositories, and dev lab environments remain stable and available with minimal disruption, and proactively communicate planned upgrades and maintenance

• Oversee patching and associated release activities in collaboration with Development, Architecture, Application Engineering, and Infrastructure teams

• Define, prioritize, and manage dev lab incidents, ensuring effective triage and resolution; maintain dashboards and metrics to track trends and provide stakeholder visibility

• Drive timely triage and resolution of quality-related tasks and backlog items

• Execute production releases following established change management, release, and deployment procedures

• Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies to define scope and prioritize sprint deliverables

Required Knowledge And Experiences

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps Quality, Release Engineering, or a related discipline

• Strong expertise in Git-based workflows, including branching strategies, pull request governance, and merge policies

• Proficiency with CI/CD platforms such as Harness or Jenkins

• Experience with artifact management solutions, including JFrog Artifactory

• Experience with security scanning tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, and Corgea, with the ability to analyze and interpret vulnerability reports

• Understanding of change management practices and ITSM platforms such as Remedy and Jira

• Hands-on experience with enterprise patch management processes and tools

• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm

• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell

• Working knowledge of Linux server architecture and a foundational understanding of Oracle Database concepts

• Detail-oriented, security-first, and an effective communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders across geographies
