Job Description

Pay: $18.08–$19.65/hour, plus a 5% Mobile Premium and applicable weekend differential.

Schedule During Training:

Mon-Fri for 10 weeks. 8am-430pm (first two weeks) and 9am-530pm for the remainder of the 10 weeks.

Schedule After Training:

Full-Time, with variable hours between 5am and 11pm. There are two schedules: Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday

Travel Expectations: Our Mobile Phlebotomists can travel with the Phlebotomy team up to a 260 mile range from Spokane. Overnights occur weekly with Hotel and meals covered!

No prior phlebotomy experience is required. Paid training is provided.

As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will assist Vitalant's donor care team in setting up blood drives at locations within a 260-mile radius while creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent donation experiences for our donors. Every day, you'll play an important role in helping save lives and supporting your community.

What You’ll Do

Most days you’ll conduct a blood drive in one of our buses; other days you’ll interact with donors at one of our local donation centers. Every day you will:

• Greet donors, keeping them comfortable and informed
• Perform blood draws (paid training provided)
• Manage accurate and organized donor information
• Receive coaching, encouragement, and support from caring managers who are invested your career and success
• Set up, operate, and break down equipment at mobile blood drives
• Package and transport blood products according to established procedures

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel throughout the service area, including overnight hotel stays
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed
