Laundry Specialist/Dry Cleaner
Description
Amentum is seeking a Laundry Specialist/Dry Cleaner to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. Must be a citizen of the Bahamas. This position is reserved for Bahamian Citizens only.
Duties and responsibilities

Keeping inventory of laundry materials, supplies and machines

Must be able to report and track damage, broken and malfunctions within the laundry area.

Must be able to stand for long period of time.

Receive, sort, wash, dry, dry-clean, dye, press, and prepare for delivery of clothes and linens.

Must be able to remove stain from items as need be using appropriate method.

Must be organized.

Must be able to keep track of all items coming in and going out of laundry area.

Use tools or machines and other devices to fit, cut, sew, rivet, assemble, and attach findings to articles such as belts, shirts, bags, pants, and hats.

Must be familiar with cleaning products like bleach, laundry detergent, softener, etc.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements

Must be a citizen of the Bahamas. This position is reserved for Bahamian Citizens only.

2 years of job-related experience required.

Must have ability to read, interpret and apply instructions, publications, and safety rules.
