Senior GraphQL & Web Developer

We’re   looking for a Senior   GraphQL   & Web Developer to join us at Telia.

I’m   Pierre Lindquist ,   Team Manager for Clients in Sales & Onboarding , and   I’m   searching for someone ready to grow with us.   We’re   a supportive, cross-functional team focused on delivering Telia Play, a unified streaming experience for customers across the Nordics.

What   you’ll   do:

You’ll   evolve the   GraphQL   platform and modern web applications powering Telia Play across web, mobile, Smart TV and set-top box clients.

• Develop   and maintain scalable   GraphQL   services and customer-facing web applications using TypeScript and modern frontend technologies

• Drive   GraphQL   schema design, API evolution, performance   optimisation   and developer experience

• Collaborate   with backend developers, designers and product owners to deliver reliable, accessible customer experiences

• Contribute   to architecture decisions, code reviews, mentoring and continuous improvement across the platform

What will help you thrive in this role:

You enjoy solving complex technical challenges,   take   ownership from planning to   deployment   and   share   your   expertise   in a collaborative environment.

• Proven experience in   GraphQL , Node.js and modern web development

• Strong knowledge of   TypeScript, React, API design, automated testing and CI/CD practices

• Ability to   design scalable services and work effectively with distributed systems and cross-functional teams

• Experience with   AWS; knowledge of Next.js, Solid.js, Apollo, Infrastructure as Code, observability or streaming platforms is an advantage

• Fluency in   English
