-
Review electrical construction specifications, drawings, and design packages for new construction and renovation projects.

-
Collaborate with contractors, architects, and consulting engineers to optimize cost, performance, and reliability of utility and building systems.

-
Lead or co-lead engineering projects and manage project execution from planning through completion.

-
Provide cross-functional leadership in project management, prioritization, forecasting, and resource allocation for maintenance and engineering activities.

-
Coordinate with utility providers to support service reliability, capacity planning, and infrastructure upgrades.

-
Support electrical safety programs including arc flash studies, protection coordination reviews, and compliance with NFPA 70E requirements.

-
Evaluate electrical system capacity, load growth, and future infrastructure needs to support long-term site expansion and operational objectives.

-
Develop scopes of work, project execution strategies, and support engineering studies.

-
Manage personal and departmental workloads to achieve project objectives and agreed-upon timelines.

-
Plan and coordinate short-term engineering and maintenance activities to ensure efficient execution.

-
Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, operational performance, and maintenance effectiveness.

-
Support implementation of preventive maintenance strategies, processes, and procedures that improve equipment performance and asset reliability.

-
Develop and execute electrical asset lifecycle and obsolescence management strategies to ensure long-term reliability, maintainability, and future site readiness.

-
Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations and update equipment reliability plans based on findings.

-
Provide technical support for equipment and process improvement initiatives utilizing sound engineering principles and structured problem-solving methodologies.

-
Utilize broad engineering knowledge and experience to develop innovative solutions and improve products, processes, and services.
