The APAC Workplace Strategy Manager is responsible for developing and executing workplace strategies across the Asia-Pacific region to create future-ready, employee-centric, and high-performing workplaces.

The role will lead regional initiatives focused on workplace experience, hybrid work, workplace innovation, digital workplace transformation, and employee engagement. Working closely with HR, IT, Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, Security, Procurement, EHS, Communications, and business leaders, the incumbent will translate business objectives into workplace strategies that improve productivity, collaboration, wellbeing, and organizational culture.
This position serves as the regional subject matter expert on workplace strategy and plays a key role in shaping the future of work across APAC.

Key Responsibilities

1. Workplace Strategy & Future of Work

• Develop and implement the APAC Workplace Strategy aligned with global workplace vision and business objectives.

• Lead regional initiatives supporting hybrid work, flexible work models, activity-based working (ABW), and evolving workplace practices.

• Translate business and workforce needs into workplace solutions that enhance collaboration, productivity, innovation, and employee engagement.

• Continuously evaluate workplace trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to inform strategic planning.

2. Employee Experience & Workplace Innovation

• Champion a human-centred workplace strategy that enhances employee experience, wellbeing, inclusion, and organizational culture.

• Design and continuously improve end-to-end workplace journeys across physical and digital touchpoints.

• Develop innovative workplace concepts, pilot programs, and employee engagement initiatives.

• Drive workplace experience improvements through user feedback and continuous innovation.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Advisory

• Partner closely with HR, IT, Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management, EHS, Procurement, Security, Communications, and business leaders to align workplace initiatives with organizational priorities.

• Serve as the trusted advisor on workplace transformation, employee experience, and future workplace strategy.

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, design-thinking sessions, employee interviews, focus groups, and co-creation workshops.

• Build strong relationships with regional and country leadership teams to drive workplace adoption and alignment.

4. Workplace Standards, Guidelines & Experience Design

• Develop and maintain APAC workplace design principles, workplace experience standards, and workplace playbooks (excluding technical real estate design standards).

• Ensure consistent workplace experiences across APAC while allowing flexibility for local cultural and operational requirements.

• Collaborate with workplace designers, architects, project managers, and facilities teams to embed experience-led workplace design principles.

• Review workplace projects to ensure alignment with established workplace standards and employee experience objectives.

5. Change Management & Adoption

• Develop and execute change management strategies supporting workplace transformation initiatives.

• Create communication, engagement, and training plans that promote adoption of new workplace programs and ways of working.

• Partner with HR and Communications to drive behavioural change and organizational culture initiatives.

• Measure adoption and continuously improve change management effectiveness.

6. Data Analytics, Insights & Performance Measurement

• Define workplace performance metrics and KPIs, including employee satisfaction, workplace experience, service performance, space utilization, collaboration effectiveness, and workplace engagement.

• Analyse workplace data from employee surveys, occupancy sensors, booking systems, and digital workplace platforms.

• Develop executive dashboards and reports to support strategic decision-making.

• Identify trends and recommend continuous improvements based on data-driven insights.

7. Workplace Technology & Digital Experience

• Partner with IT and Digital Workplace teams to improve workplace technologies, including desk booking systems, meeting room platforms, collaboration tools, employee workplace applications, and smart building technologies.

• Ensure seamless integration between physical workplace experiences and digital workplace solutions.

• Identify and evaluate emerging workplace technologies that enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.

• Lead user adoption of workplace technology initiatives across the region.

8. Program & Initiative Management

• Lead regional workplace transformation programs, innovation initiatives, and strategic workplace projects across APAC.

• Manage project governance, budgets, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications.

• Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure successful implementation.

• Track program outcomes and ensure delivery against strategic objectives.

9. Governance & Best Practices

• Establish governance frameworks supporting workplace strategy, workplace experience, and operational consistency across APAC.

• Develop regional standards, policies, and best practice guidelines.

• Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across countries.

• Ensure workplace initiatives comply with global policies, corporate standards, and organizational values.

Your Skills and Expertise

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management, Workplace Strategy, Architecture, Interior Design, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related discipline.

• Professional certifications such as:

• IFMA Workplace Strategy

• Certified Facility Manager (CFM)

• WELL AP

• LEED AP

• Prosci Change Management

• PMP / PRINCE2 (preferred)

• 8–12 years of experience in Workplace Strategy, Corporate Real Estate, Workplace Experience, Facilities Management, Organizational Transformation, or related disciplines.

• Proven experience leading regional workplace transformation initiatives across multiple APAC countries.

• Experience working wit
