• 5+ years of engineering experience. Python preferred; real depth in Java, C#, Kotlin or Go is a heavy plus. Ideally, you are comfortable with Python alongside at least one other backend language.

• Understanding and production experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Docker, AWS and CI systems.

• Deep understanding of product development — how teams plan, ship, maintain, and troubleshoot features.

• A track record of building tooling and pipelines other engineers rely on, and real care for developer experience .

• Performance work grounded in measurement — metrics, traces and query plans rather than intuition.

• Architectural judgement in trade-offs rather than rules , avoiding both early overengineering and painted-in corners.

• Comfort in a large shared repository, and clarity about its trade-offs.

• Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy — clarify ambiguous requirements, identify what needs to be done, propose solutions, and take ownership through implementation rather than relying on detailed task specifications.

• Agile ways of working, and real investment in team processes, mentoring, and collective growth.

• A strong learning and team mindset : curiosity, willingness to grow beyond your current area of expertise, and readiness to contribute where it creates the most value for the team.

• Fluent Russian, and English at B2 level or above .
