Service Engineer - UHT & Dairy Processing Systems
Description
We are looking for a hands-on Service Engineer to support installation, preventive maintenance, and overhaul activities for UHT and dairy processing systems. This role works closely with customers to ensure equipment reliability, performance, and long-term service value.
Responsibilities / Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute overhaul activities for UHT systems
- Perform crack testing and maintenance for Spray Dryer plants
- Conduct preventive maintenance for GEA equipment (e.g., Avapac, mixing plants)
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation issues
- Support installation, servicing, and repair of dairy processing equipment
- Engage with customers to introduce and promote service offerings
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
Your Profile / Qualifications
Technical Requirements
- Strong experience in maintenance and servicing of industrial processing equipment
- Hands-on knowledge of:
- UHT systems
- Spray Dryer plants
- Mixing plants for dairy / beverage processing
- Solid understanding of:
- Mechanical systems
- Electrical components
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Familiarity with dairy processing (liquid and powder) operations
- Ability to diagnose issues and perform structured troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Control & Automation Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3- 5 years of relevant service or maintenance experience in industrial environments
- Good command of technical English
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently
Nice to Have
- Experience with GEA equipment or similar OEM systems
- Exposure to regional or on-site customer support roles
- Understanding of food processing industry standards and safety practices
