Full Stack Software Engineer (Mid-Senior)

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a mid-to-senior Full Stack Software Engineer to own product outcomes across the entire stack. You will design and build user interfaces and backend services that power mission-critical hardware systems, lead greenfield projects, and collaborate closely with engineers and operators to deliver reliable, high-performance tools for complex systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and build browser-based operator interfaces that stay fast and legible under continuous high-rate data.

• Build and maintain the backend services and APIs behind those interfaces.

• Lead greenfield projects and help define system architecture.

• Work across the stack on data flow, rendering performance, and reliability.

• Collaborate with engineers and operators to translate real-world workflows into software.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering practice.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong TypeScript and React, with real depth on rendering performance.

• Backend experience in a compiled or systems language (Rust, Go, C/C++, Java).

• Experience building and operating production APIs and services.

• Experience with real-time or streaming data in the browser—WebSockets, high-frequency updates, charting or visualization over live data.

• Production experience with concurrent programming.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset.

NICE TO HAVE

• Rust specifically, beyond general systems-language experience.

• Frontend depth—browser internals, video streaming, or low-latency UI experience.

• Track record of leading or owning greenfield projects.

• Interest in systems programming, performance, or infrastructure.
