Manager, Psychology Programs – Neuropsychology Service – Columbia

The Pediatric Behavioral Health Outpatient Programs at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center provide comprehensive mental health services for children, adolescents, and families with a wide range of behavioral, emotional, developmental, and neurocognitive needs.

Our Neuropsychology Testing and Educational Advocacy service is dedicated to ensuring equitable access to high-quality neuropsychological assessments and educational support for children and families who have historically faced barriers to care. Through comprehensive evaluations, educational advocacy, and close collaboration with schools and community partners, the program helps students access critical services, accommodations, and opportunities that support long-term academic and developmental success.

In partnership with New York City public schools and supported through private philanthropy, our neuropsychology team has developed innovative programs focused on early identification of reading disabilities and improving access to specialized neuropsychological care. The service also includes a robust APA-accredited two-year neuropsychology fellowship, along with additional training opportunities for psychology interns, externs, and other traine. We are seeking a mission-driven psychologist leader to provide shared oversight of the neuropsychology testing and educational advocacy service. Working closely with program leadership, this individual will support clinical operations, workforce and capacity planning, quality improvement initiatives, and performance metric review. The role will play an important role in contributing to program development and strategic planning as the service continues to expand its impact across NewYork-Presbyterian, the NYC educational systems, and the communities we serve. In addition to operational leadership responsibilities, the successful candidate will provide supervision, mentorship, and professional development support to faculty, staff, fellows, interns, and trainees. They will collaborate closely with psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, educational advocates, trainees, and medical providers in a highly interdisciplinary environment committed to clinical excellence, innovation, health equity, and community impact.

Required Criteria

• Doctorate degree in Psychology

• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience

• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory/administrative experience

• New York State Psychologist License required by the Office of Professions

Salary Range

$140,000-$174,000/Annual
