Job Summary
Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Staff Thermal Engineer located in Kallang, Singapore .
What a typical day looks like:

Analyze and evaluate the feasibility of thermal design architecture.

Perform thermal/acoustic estimation/verification against product requirements.

Research/implement new thermal technologies for high density power module and energy storage products.

In charge of supplier management and cross functional communication.

Manage technical projects and collaborate with other internal teams and to support the execution process throughout development cycle.

Collaborate with design team to get resolution/path forward when appropriate trade-offs required between thermal and other disciplines (ie. EMC, SI, PCB design).

Keep up to date on appropriate standards and test methodologies.

Review of design for thermal strategy and implementation
