Technical Buyer

A growing global supply chain company is looking for a Technical Buyer to join a new operation supporting a leading international manufacturing customer.

This is a hands-on purchasing role focused on technical procurement, supplier management, and close collaboration with warehouse teams and end users. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely availability of technical inventory and spare parts while working in a KPI-driven environment.

Location: Opava, Czech Republic (On-site)

Responsibilities

• Execute purchases for technical inventory, spare parts, and MRO materials.

• Work closely with internal customers and warehouse teams to understand procurement requirements.

• Source local suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.

• Issue purchase orders and monitor deliveries.

• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.

• Align inventory levels with customer requirements.

• Track procurement KPIs and prepare periodic reports.

• Deliver excellent customer service while working independently at the customer site.

• Experience in technical procurement or purchasing.

• Experience sourcing from local suppliers.

• Experience working with technical inventory, spare parts, or MRO materials.

• Customer-facing experience.

• Experience working with ERP systems.

• Good Excel skills.

• Fluent Czech and good English.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
