Senior Embedded System Architect

We are looking for a Senior Embedded System Architect to define and drive the architecture of complex embedded computing platforms, from product needs through design, integration, validation and production. You will translate customer and product needs into clear architectures and requirements, lead cross-domain technical decisions and ensure our systems are robust, scalable, observable, diagnosable, testable and maintainable throughout their lifecycle.
The role spans hardware, embedded software, SoCs and MCUs, networking, memory and storage, power management, boot and update flows, diagnostics, safety mechanisms and system integration.

** This role requires working from our Petah-Tikva site 1 day per week.

What will your job look like?

• Own system architecture for complex embedded platforms and major platform capabilities.

• Translate product and customer needs into system concepts, architectures,  interfaces and clear requirements.

• Define functional decomposition, hardware and software partitioning, responsibilities, data  flows and control flows.

• Drive architectural decisions across compute, memory, storage, networking, power, boot, diagnostics, software upda te, secur ity and monitoring.

• Lead technical alignment across system, hardware, embedded software, validation, safety, security, program teams,  customers and technology partners.

• Analyze  system performance, availability and reliability con straints and convert them into architectural decisions.

• Identify architectural gaps and risks early, define  mitigation s and drive complex cross-domain issues to closure.

• Balance functionality, performance, cost, complexity, safety, reliability and product constraints.

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. M.Sc. is an advantage.

• 5+ years of experience in system architecture, system engineering, or development of complex embedded systems.

• Strong u nderstanding of embedded architecture across hardware and software boundaries, including SoCs, MCUs, processors, memory, storage and peripherals.

• Proven experience defining system architectures, interfaces, requirements, functional decomposition and hardware and software partitioning.

• Strong analytical and debugging capabilities for complex multidisciplinary systems.

• Ability to lead technical decisions and align multiple engineering teams without relying on direct authority.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to diverse stakeholders.

• Experience with automotive, safety-critical, or high-performance embedded systems - Advantage

• Experiance with ASPICE, ISO 26262,  Polarion , DOORS, or similar development and requirements frameworks  - Advantage

• Experience working with customers, semiconductor vendors or technology partners - Advantage
