Job Description
About the Role
The Foil Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Carle & Montanari foiling machines. This role ensures consistent product flow, quality wrapping, accurate documentation, and proper maintenance of equipment while supporting overall production goals.

Prepare Carle & Montanari foiling machines for safe and efficient startup .

Load and align products into the feeder track using jog function.

Thread and align wrapping foil through the feeder system to ensure proper placement.

Start the machine and continuously monitor product feeding and wrapping processes for accuracy and consistency.

Perform and record all required quality checks, ensuring data is accurate and submitted on time.

Keep foiling fingers and wrapper guides clean and free from chocolate buildup to maintain wrap quality.

Communicate machine downtime and causes clearly to management.

Verify correct foil, bagger film, and legible date codes for scheduled production runs.

Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all safety protocols.

Take ownership of equipment by cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating as needed throughout the shift.

Power down the line at shift end and submit all completed paperwork to the Supervisor or Group Lead.

Attend all required meetings on time and comply with plant attendance guidelines.

Perform other duties as assigned to support a safe, clean, and efficient production environment.
Important D etails: T his is a full - time permanent role on 3rd shift, which operates from 10:45 p m to 7:15 a m Sunday through Thursday with some Fridays as needed .
