Job Description

Summary:

Under general supervision, safely performs advanced and expert level diagnoses, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and reconditioning of production equipment in compliance with company policies

Responsibilities:

-
Follow and   comply with   all safety standards including Lock Out, Electrical Arc Flash, Fall Protection, etc.

-
Provide safe and   timely   mechanical and electrical support.

-
Ability to interpret and work   from complicated drawings, blueprints, worksheets,   equipment   manuals,   and other related documents.

-
Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment.

Participate in continuous improvement activities

-
Perform various hot work tasks.

-
Orders   supplies and repair   items   as necessary.

-
Set up and   operate   equipment being used to make and repair parts. Examples would be   lathe , drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.

Ability to work at heights of 10'-0" or more.

-
Ability to work in tight spaces.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirement s :

-
Strong English communication skills – verbal, written & presentation; Listening

-
Office PC skills (Excel) and specific software (CMMS) involving technical skills knowledge

-
A dvanced knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems with general knowledge of electrical,   VFD,   and PLC systems.

-
Understanding of spare part inventory process

-
A bility to work independently.

-
Must be able to pass a maintenance assessment.

Physical   Requirements:

Ability to l ift, push,   pull   and   bend   up to 50 lbs   unassisted
