We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, and commercially minded Country Manager to lead our affiliate in Hungary and drive long-term business growth, organizational excellence, and sustainable value creation.
As the senior Medison leader in the market, the Country Manager serves as the face of the company externally and the integrator of all affiliate activities internally. The role carries full accountability for business performance, patient impact, financial outcomes, organizational capability, strategic partnerships, compliance, and reputation.
Beyond delivering short-term results, the successful candidate will demonstrate enterprise leadership by balancing local market opportunities with broader regional and global priorities, developing strategic partnerships, building a high-performing organization, and creating the conditions for sustainable long-term growth. The role requires strong commercial judgment, executive presence, business gravitas, financial discipline, and the ability to lead through ambiguity in a dynamic and evolving healthcare environment.
The position reports to the Cluster Head and is based in Hungary. Domestic and international travel should be expected.

Other requirements
- University degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Business, Economics, or related field.
- Experience in Country Manager role in Hungary
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Demonstrated success in senior commercial, market access, or general management leadership roles.
- Proven affiliate or business leadership experience with direct P&L accountability.
- Proven track record of product launches, reimbursement negotiations, strategic partnerships, and organizational leadership.
- Strong understanding of local healthcare systems, market access environments, and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Experience leading cross-functional organizations in complex matrix environments.
- Fluency in English and local language(s) where applicable.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
