Workplace and People Operations Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on, full-ownership role responsible for keeping a fast-growing Berlin office running smoothly while shaping the culture that defines the team. You will own everything from day-to-day office logistics to the people processes that make every new hire feel set up for success from day one. At a company scaling quickly, this role is critical to making sure operations never become a bottleneck.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage all Berlin office operations, including supplies, equipment, workspace organisation, and productivity systems.

• Own the full employee lifecycle, covering seamless onboarding (hardware, access, desk ready on arrival) through thoughtful offboarding.

• Design and run culture initiatives that keep the team connected and engaged as headcount grows.

• Build automations for workplace and people ops workflows using AI and no-code tools to reduce manual effort.

• Handle ad-hoc requests and jump in wherever the team needs support, no two weeks look the same.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2 or more years of experience in workplace, office, or people operations, ideally at a startup.

• Proven track record building and implementing operations processes including onboarding, offboarding, and office management.

• Hands-on experience managing office supplies, equipment procurement, and inventory.

• Experience designing and executing culture initiatives and internal team events.

• Comfortable building automations using AI and no-code tools to streamline operations workflows.

• Organised, reliable, and detail-oriented with a process-builder mindset that scales solutions instead of solving the same problem twice.

• Owner mentality: you take initiative and move without waiting for detailed instructions.

• Fluent in both English and German.

LOCATION
