S/4HANA Expert – Finance & Controlling

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled S/4 Finance & Controlling Expert with a focus on Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC), Tax, VIM, MBC/BCM, and/or Revenue Recognition to lead and support the integration and optimization of Finance processes.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Finance & Controlling with a strong track record of implementing and supporting Finance modules in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement continuous improvement related Change Requests (e.g. in DRC, Tax, MBC/BCM, VIM).

• Integrate S/4HANA processes with tax authorities for e-Invoicing and Tax Reporting – Italy, India, Portugal (SAF-T), Korea, China (Golden Tax), France, etc.

• Integrate S/4HANA processes with 3rd party solutions (like SOVOS in US) for tax calculation and reporting.

• Collaborate with Finance and Tax teams to ensure global finance processes and audit readiness.

• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for S/4HANA Finance (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Month-end Closing) functionalities.

• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for S/4HANA Controlling (Production orders, internal orders, cost centers, profit centers) functionalities.

• Process and configuration knowledge about Actual Costing and Costing runs.

• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in S/4HANA

• Proven experience in at least 2 full-cycle implementations involving S/4HANA DRC and integration.

• Familiarity with S/4HANA FI & CO processes

Preferred Qualifications:

S/4HANA DRC certifications.

Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

SAP S/4HANA (Finance & Controlling)

Data Migration tools (LSMW, MASS)

Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools
