Job Description
Supports the Inpatient Practice Manager, Regional Director of Hospital-Based Services, and facility Medical Director in daily operations. Reviews charge, scheduling, and financial reports to ensure appropriate physician and office reimbursement. Prepares check requests for Physician Expense Reports, Provider bonuses, and additional shifts worked via Reimbursement/Reconciliation form in accordance with policy. Reads and understands expense reports, working with Practice Manager and/or Director of Operations regarding variances. Understands budgetary limitations and helps maintain budgetary limits. Processes invoices for payment in accordance with hospital policy. Trains and assigns tasks to physician affiliate office staff as directed by Practice Manager or Regional Director of Hospital-Based Services. Prepares, updates, and tracks department schedules to ensure adequate staffing coverage, including on-call schedules and PRN staffing. Ensures all providers maintain yearly licenses and certifications to maintain active privileges. Responds to problems and concerns of physicians and APP providers. Assists with physician credentialing as necessary. Acts as practice liaison for patients. Other duties as assigned.

1+ as a lead role in a medical and/or business setting or other supervisory related role, with or without direct reports coordinator experience [Preferred]

Pay Range
