Senior DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join IVIX and help build, scale, and evolve the infrastructure behind our production systems.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong experience operating large-scale production environments, with a particular focus on Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and automation. You’ll work on complex infrastructure challenges, take ownership of critical production systems, and help shape how we build and operate our infrastructure as we continue to scale.

• 5+ years of professional DevOps experience , with significant hands-on experience in production environments.

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production , including managing and scaling clusters and workloads.

• Experience operating large-scale, complex production systems .

• Experience working with Big Data environments, infrastructure, or large-scale data workloads .

• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure. Experience with AWS and/or GCP is preferred; strong Azure experience is also relevant.

• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines .

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform .

• Strong understanding of monitoring and observability , using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar.

• Solid networking knowledge, including DNS, load balancers, VPNs, and firewalls.

• Experience with Python or other scripting languages for infrastructure automation.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently investigate complex production issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark or operating Spark clusters.

• Experience with multi-cloud environments.

• Strong knowledge of cloud and infrastructure security best practices.

• Relevant AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, or similar certifications.
